Miguel Sayad is the founder, director and head curator of Espaço Vazio residency and Largo das Artes cultural center; Psychoanalyst and member of the Brazilian Psychoanalysis Society RJ; of the International Psychoanalytic Association and of the Psychoanalytic Federation of Latin America. He is a contemporary art collector that created and developed the concept of the Espaço Vazio (Empty Space) based on his psychoanalytical and cultural experience; Founded EV in 2000, Largo das Artes in 2007 and is currently organizing the EV_Lisboa residency, an extension of the project in Portugal.
